Bio
Coach Varn is beginning his first year at South Florence High School. He attended Newberry College, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management in 2022 and Master's Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership in 2023. Coach Varn played offensive line at Newberry College, making 48 starts while playing every position on the offensive line. He was a 2-time All South Atlantic Conference selection and one of three offensive guards nominated for the Gene Upshaw Award, which is given to the best offensive or defensive lineman in NCAA Division II. He also won back-to-back South Atlantic Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022. Coach Varn is an alumnus of Clinton High School in Clinton, SC.
